MONKEE’S OF JOHNSON CITY WILL CELEBRATE THE GRAND OPENING WITH TRUNK SHOWS BY TRINA TURK, JACK ROGERS AND MOLLYBEADS.
AUGUST 2015 – Monkee’s of Johnson City, an upscale ladies boutique that features designer shoes, clothing and accessories, will open August 15th at 2515 North Roan Street. The store is located in the Peerless Center, a newly renovated development in the heart of Johnson City one block from I-26 and the Kingsport/Bristol Highway intersection.
Owner Krista Wharton is a franchisee of North Carolina-based Monkee’s, which will have 25 independently owned and operated locations in 8 states as of Fall 2015. The boutiques have a loyal following throughout the southeast and beyond. Established in 1995, Monkee’s was built on a love of fashion, and grown through a focus on personal customer relationships. The company is currently celebrating 20 years of successfully styling women in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
“I want my boutique to be a place where women leave feeling happier than when they walked in. I strongly believe in building positive, uplifting and loyal relationships,” said Wharton. “I will treat my customers the same way I want to be treated.”
Gleaming white cabinetry, signature chandeliers and the lounge-friendly shoe galleries are all staples in a Monkee’s store. However, each location has a personality of its own. Monkee’s of Johnson City exudes southern hospitality with colorful décor and charming couches that entice you to sit and stay a while.
Monkee’s of Johnson City will carry new and exciting designer labels of shoes, clothing and accessories with a wide variety of styles and price ranges. This stylish owner is excited to feature Frye, Alice & Trixie, Trina Turk, Jack Rogers, Paul Mayer and Joie – just to name a few.
After months of anticipation and planning, Monkee’s of Johnson City will open the doors with a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, August 15th from 10am to 6pm. Festivities will include trunk shows by Trina Turk, Jack Rogers and Mollybeads. Customers will also enjoy a gift with purchase on Saturday while supplies last and a chance to enter to win special giveaways. The trunk shows will continue on Sunday, August 16th from 1-5pm.
