Jessica and Kenneth Wehrmann are pleased to announce their purchase of Monkee’s of Blowing Rock. Originally from Wilkesboro, NC, the Wehrmanns are excited to move back to a place they love. The mountains hold fond memories of Appalachian tailgates, romantic dinners, beautiful Parkway drives, picnics, and days spent shopping!
Jessica became part of the Monkee’s team in Winston-Salem during her junior year of college at Wake Forest University. Upon graduation, she became a full time sales associate and then manager. Her love of fashion and people drove her into retail, but her love of the Monkee’s mantra held her.
“I love walking into a Monkee’s store knowing that I will be treated like family whether they know me or not. To have the opportunity to own a Monkee’s, and share the sense of community with others, has been a dream of mine for quite some time. I love being able to meet new people, build relationships and have fun shopping all in a day’s work!”
