August 11, 2021 // Franchising.com // Fairfax, Virginia – A standout shopping experience unlike any other; Monkee’s of Fairfax brings their superior selection of luxury shoes, clothing, and accessories to the fashionistas of Northern Virginia.
Monkee’s of Fairfax will open their doors Friday, August 13, featuring trunk shows from designers Anna Cate, Jefferson Lane and Bisous & The Bay. Located at 11899 Grand Commons Avenue in Fairfax Corner, this location marks the first Monkee’s boutique in the DC Metro area.
“Monkee’s Franchising is pleased to continue successfully achieving our strategic growth plan, while continuing to align ourselves with franchisees that not only have a strong desire to succeed, but also have a passion and appreciation for the Monkee’s brand,” said Andrea Rice, Monkee’s Franchising, VP of Operations.
Owned and operated by mother/daughter duo Amy Hollstein and Kaley Carillon, the boutique will be held as a family business. Throughout Kaley’s life, she and her mother Amy have shared a love of all things shoes, clothing & style. Transitioning from their careers in education, both Amy and Kaley were looking for their next adventure and found their calling to open their own Monkee’s Boutique! “I knew how much a store like Monkee’s was needed in Northern Virginia. From the designer fashion to the personalized experience; Monkee’s is just what our community was missing!” said Carillon, co-owner of Monkee’s of Fairfax.
“We want our store to feel like you are walking into your most fashionable friend’s oversized closet! Shopping should be fun and personal, and that is exactly what Monkee’s of Fairfax will be,” said Hollstein. Amy and Kaley love connecting with others, and hope to not only bring a new fashion destination to the area, but also build relationships to empower and enrich the community. They look forward to giving back to the community by philanthropically supporting the local education systems.
